Alba Bozo

Alba Bozo has been the EBRD’s Managing Director, Deputy General Counsel for Corporate, Finance and Legal Transition since November 2023.

In this role she oversees the Office of the General Counsel's work on corporate, donor partnerships, institutional and administrative law, legal support for the Bank’s treasury operations as well as the Legal Transition Programme.

Ms Bozo initially joined the EBRD in 2004 as part of OGC’s Legal Associates Programme. Before returning to the EBRD in 2015, Ms Bozo worked in the legal department of the International Monetary Fund in Washington, DC and as a corporate lawyer in international law firms Fieldfisher and Herbert Smith Freehills. After 2020, Ms Bozo led OGC’s institutional, commercial and international administrative law practice.

An Albanian and British national, Ms Bozo holds an LLM from Harvard Law School.
